Inter have terminated the contract of forward Alexis Sanchez by mutual consent.

This is officially confirmed by an announcement by the club on their official site, stating that an agreement has been found and everything has been made official regarding the 33-year-old’s departure from Inter.

Sanchez joined Inter from Manchester United during the summer of 2019, making 109 appearances across all competitions and scoring twenty goals over his three seasons in a Nerazzurri shirt.

The Chilean, who has also played for the likes of Udinese, Barcelona, and Arsenal during his time in European football, is not in the plans at Inter, however, and so an agreement has been found to terminate his deal by mutual consent.

It has been widely reported that Sanchez is advanced talks with Marseille to join on a free transfer for next season, although as of yet nothing has been made official regarding a switch to the French side for the 33-year-old.
