Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume looks to be close to moving to Ligue 1 side Troyes on loan for next season.

This according to French news outlet FootMercato, via FCInterNews, who report that the French side are in pole position for the 20-year-old’s signature on loan for next season.

Agoume has looked to be gravitating towards a return to Ligue 1 on loan, having already decisively rejected the interest of newly-promoted Serie A side Cremonese for a loan move this season.

The young Frenchman spent last season on loan with Brest, where he found regular playing time in the Ligue 1 club’s starting eleven and saw significant development within the senior game.

Now, Agoume looks to be set for a return to the French top flight, and according to FootMercato it is Troyes who are in the best position to win the race for his signature, and they could get a loan deal for him wrapped up soon.
