Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei prefers a move to Chelsea over one to either OGC Nice or Sassuolo of the clubs who are interested in his signature.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 19-year-old, who the Nerazzurri value at €15 million, is leaning towards a move to join the Blues.
Chelsea have been chasing Casdei over the past few weeks, whilst Nice have also registered a serious interest and Sassuolo have also emerged as the most interested team among a host of Italian clubs.
The Nerazzurri are waiting for offers from the trio, but for the player’s part he would prefer a move to the Premier League to either the Neroverdi or to Ligue 1 to join Nice.
It will remain to be seen whether the Blues make the financial push necessary to meet Inter’s asking price for Casadei, but he would be open to making the switch.
