Midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and wingback Robin Gosens are likely to start for Inter in this evening’s Serie A opener against Lecce.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who include the pair in their predicted starting eleven for the clash in today’s print edition.

Brozovic’s fitness for this evening’s match has been in doubt after the 29-year-old picked up a minor calf problem, which caused him to miss the team’s final friendly of preseason against Villarreal.

However, after the Croat has been closely assessed in the last couple days of training it looks as though he is likely to start against newly-promoted Lecce, whilst Gosens is also likely to play from the start despite having had some injury problems in preseason.

The Gazzetta’s predicted starting eleven for the clash is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Gosens; Lukaku, Lautaro.
