Goldman Sachs are set to send potential investors into Inter information about the club in order to garner interest, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Il Sole 24 Ore, the US bank Goldman Sachs is starting to act on Suning’s ownership situation with Inter.
They are going to send potential investors documentation with confidential data about Inter to lay the ground for fresh investment in the club.
The financial situation at Inter continued to lead to repeated stories about Suning and a sale of the club. The need to raise more money from transfers this summer has only added fuel to the fire.
There are rumours that Oaktree Capital Group would not be willing to take control of the club if Suning proved unable to pay their debts, like Elliott Management did with AC Milan.
That means the only card available to Steven Zhang if they did not want to control the club would be to pay the debts or sell club.
