Inter defender Milan Skriniar has received solid grades across the board from Italian media for his performance in yesterday’s 3-0 win over Spezia in Serie A.

The Slovakian was given credit for a good shift at the back in the player ratings for the match in Italian media, as highlighted by L’Interista, as he helped the Nerazzurri to a clean sheet in their home opener at the San Siro.

Skriniar had started in Inter’s first match of the season against Lecce as well, and the 27-year-old was once again entrusted to the role at the left side of the back three which has now become customary.

The Slovakian did not have too much to do in defense but when he was tasked with holding up the Spezia attack he did so without much fuss, and he also showed a willingness to position himself high on the pitch when the team’s shape called for it to pin the opposition back.

Skriniar received grades of 6/10 from the likes of Tuttosport and the Corriere dello Sport, whilst all of the Gazzetta dello Sport, TuttoMercatoWeb, and L’Interista went one score higher, 6.5/10.
