Inter are in talks with Lazio to work out the final details on a loan move for Francesco Acerbi containing a purchase option.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri are close to total agreement and only need to agree on the final amount for the loan fee and the amount for a purchase option.

Inter, Lazio, and Acerbi’s representatives have been negotiating for the past week or so as the Nerazzurri have greatly accelerated their pursuit of Acerbi, and now they look to be right on the verge of getting a deal done.

The Biancocelesti are open to sending Acerbi on loan for a small fee, and would be ready to include a purchase option that is not a mandatory obligation to make the signing permanent at the end of the loan.

Meanwhile, the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji and Chelsea’s Nathaniel Chalobah, Inter’s alternatives to Acerbi, would not be available on loan with a purchase option.
