Inter could already be back to their attacking best, with the instant understanding between the reunited partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez at the heart of things.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who note that the Nerazzurri have already taken 37 shots on goal in just their first two matches of the Serie A season, with both of their two main strikers looking fairly sharp.

Both Lukaku and Martinez have already scored their first goal of the season, the former against Lecce and the latter against Spezia.

In both matches, the Nerazzurri were by far the team to have taken more attempts than their opposition, with the 37 total attempts behind only Napoli among Serie A teams.

Moreover, with seventeen of these shots having been on target and five having resulted in goals, in addition to numerous saves having been forced out of both Lecce’s Wladimiro Falcone and Spezia’s Bartolmiej Dragowski, early signs are very positive regarding Inter’s attack.
