Inter would be ready to sign Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi on loan without much left to do, but they are prioritizing trying to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on loan.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri are not rushing into their decision of who their final signing of the window will be, with Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji also still a candidate.

Inter held a meeting with Acerbi’s agent Federico Pastorello earlier today, where it was made very clear that the 34-year-old wants to join on loan, and that a move for him would be feasible.

However, the Nerazzurri have not made their decision just yet, as they are still waiting to see whether Chalobah will become available, as the 23-year-old would be more of a priority than Acerbi.

Considering that Acerbi also remains a target, Inter will not make a signing right away, and could make their final decision only in the last few days of the transfer window.
