Inter will likely need to offer Milan Skriniar a salary of €6 million per season to keep the Slovakian defender at the club, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Nerazzurri are starting to lay the groundwork for Milan Skrniar to sign a new contract but they will need to make him one of the highest earners at the club.

His current deal runs out in June 2023 and Paris Saint Germain have already expressed an interest in trying to convince him to sign with them for free in 2023.

The first meetings are scheduled for after the derby on September 3 and Inter will need to offer him a deal that is in line with players such as Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez.

That means a salary of around €6 million and likely a very healthy bonus package as he is crucial to the team.
