Serie B side Bari are aiming to sign striker Eddie Salcedo on loan from Inter, and held talks today to try and wrap up a deal for his signature.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that Bari will try to wrap up the deal tomorrow.
Salcedo has been looking for a new club on loan this summer, having spent last season on loan with Spezia where he found playing time hard to come by.
A number of clubs have been linked with the 20-year-old’s signature, including Belgian side Standard Liege and Serie B team Pisa, but it looks to be Bari who will instead be the ones to complete a deal for him.
According to Di Marzio, the Apulian team met with the Nerazzurri today to try and get an agreement wrapped up, and will look to complete the loan deal tomorrow.
