Inter wingback Robin Gosens has agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen, although the Bundesliga team have yet to make Inter an offer of a loan deal that would include a purchase obligation.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that an offer including a purchase obligation would still be necessary to convince the Nerazzurri on a deal to let Gosens depart before the transfer window closes.

Gosens has only been an Inter player since January when he made the switch from Atalanta, but he would already be ready to end his time in a Nerazzurri shirt as he is convinced by Leverkusen’s offer.

The German team have yet to make a satisfactory offer to the Nerazzurri, however, who would want to be certain that they would be able to cash in fully if they let Gosens leave.

As such, Leverkusen are in a strong position to sign the 28-year-old, but everything looks set to depend on whether they make the offer of a loan with a purchase obligation that Inter are asking for.
