Inter are one of the 10 clubs who are set to be punished over a breach of Financial Fair Play regulations, according to a report in the Spanish media today.
As has been reported by Marca in Spain, Inter are going to be punished along with a host of other teams involved in European competitions in recent years.
There are 10 clubs that have allegedly broken the rules. Juventus are on the list due to their persistence in the fight to creat a Super League.
Other teams that have accepted their sanctions are Paris Saint Germain, Olympique de Marseille, Besiktas, Anderlecht, Monaco, AC Milan, AS Roma and Inter. They will not be appealing the decision as they have accepted the ruling.
Both Inter and AS Roma could be in line to face sanctions of a sporting sense as well as the economic ones that every club are expecting.
As far as the 21-22 season is concerned, UEFA will also announce which 19 clubs are at high risk of violating financial fair play with the possibility of ‘correcting’ their balance sheets by October to avoid a sanction.
