Inter president Steven Zhang showed that he has faith in both CEO Beppe Marotta and coach Simone Inzaghi during the transfer window, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the president did not go against what he had promised to his coach and directors, promises that were made based on their sporting advice.

Despite receiving direct contact from Paris Saint Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi on deadline day about Milan Skriniar, he resisted the urge to sell the Slovakian defender.

That shows that he has faith in the advice he gets from Beppe Marotta and Simone Inzaghi. The only major loss for Inter from the transfer window was Ivan Perisic who should not really have been allowed to leave the club.

Apart from him though, they have not lost any of their major stars like Juventus and Napoli have.
