Inter are set to begin work on the contract renewals of both Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij now that the summer window has closed, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Nerazzurri are turning their attention away from signing players and they are now trying to secure the futures of two of their most important defenders.

The two players in question are Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij. It has been clear for a long time that Inter wants to renew the contract of Milan Skriniar but he has been at the centre of a long-running transfer story all summer.

Paris Saint Germain are still trying to sign him on a free transfer which is why Inter must try to renew his deal as soon as possible.

As for Stefan de Vrij it could be a more simple operation as long as he does not have his head turned.
