Italian journalist Ivan Zazzaroni has rated Inter’s transfer market as a 7/10 with consideration of the limitations that the owners bring, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Whilst writing for Corriere dello Sport, the newspaper that Ivan Zazzaroni is the director of, he explained why he could not give too high of a score to the Nerazzurri for the way that their transfer window panned out.

He decided that the Nerazzurri can only have a 7/10 score. AS Roma were given 8/10, it was 7.5 out of 10 for AC Milan and Napoli, and then Inter were in the same bracket as Juventus, Lazio and Lecce.

He went on to explain that the financial limitations of the owners of each club was a factor in deciding what score each team gets and he highlighted Inter’s Chinese ownership as an obstacle.

“Our evaluations take into account the resources available to the 20 clubs, the Chinese ownership obstacles (Inter) and obviously the final budget.”
