UEFA are expecting Inter to be back in correct financial order within the next four years as per the agreement that the Nerazzurri have signed, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will be watched very closely by UEFA over the next four years and there will be a big financial penalty if changes are not made.

Inter were announced along with many other clubs as having broken Financial Fair Play rules on Friday and they have been ordered to pay a fine of €4 million.

They have opted for the four-year option when it comes to a settlement to ensure they began operating in the correct financial manner. If they fail to do as they have agreed, there will be an unconditional further fine of €26 million for the Nerazzurri to pay.

Failure to comply could also result in a transfer ban.
