The lack of clarity and direction in the latter stages of Inter’s transfer window appears to have affected the team on the pitch, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, there is a lack of calm and composure at Inter after a summer transfer window which ended in a frantic manner for the Nerazzurri.

A new defender to complete the squad only arrived on the very last day despite being a targeted area for almost the entire summer with a number of players linked. There was also the fact that Milan Skriniar seemed very close to leaving for so long and also only has a year left on his deal.

The players seem constantly wary of the fact that a major player could be sold by the ownership at any moment and that is also something that Simone Inzaghi is painfully aware of.
