Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has said that Inter are an intelligent team but they can be taken advantage of, according to a report in the german broadcast media.
Speaking during an interview with the club’s official channels following the 1-1 draw with Union Berlin at the weekend, via FCInternews, Manuel Neuer explained that there are elements of Inter that Bayern Munich should be fearing.
He pointed out that the Nerazzurri are an intelligent team that knows how to defend very well: “Of course, Inter are also an intelligent team who know how to defend very well.”
He then added though, somewhat worryingly for Inter fans, that they could try to take advantage of the fact that Inter will try and play more attacking football as they are the home team.
“However, we could take advantage of the possibility that Inter could try to play more, taking the ball in midfield and thus have a shorter route to the opponent’s goal.”
It is no secret that Julian Nagelsmann’s side are absolutely devastating on the break and it’s something that Inter will need to be incredibly wary of in their first Champions League group game of the season.
