Italian journalist Marco Bucciantini believes that while Inter are currently struggling with some significant tactical issues, they can grow out of them.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Bucciantini gave the view that the Nerazzurri can get past the problems that have made themselves apparent over the first few weeks of the season, even if doing so will take some time.

Inter’s 3-2 loss to AC Milan on Saturday was not just a negative result in and of itself, but also confirmed the suspicions of many that the Nerazzurri are far from reaching their best based on what they’ve already shown so far this season.

It is still only a few matches into a long season, but the impression that has been given is that Inter are not sure how to find the balance between attack and defense to make their football effective, as was exposed by the Rossoneri.

Bucciantini gave his analysis, stating that “Inzaghi was honest in saying that the match went badly, we have to remember how important the derby ended up being last season.”

“It put them in a negative period that lasted until their trip to Turin, they took seven points from seven,” he noted.

He suggested that “Inter have not managed to play the game they want to very often this season, they have some problems but they’ll grow. Little has changed but that’s not nothing.”
