Saudi sovereign wealth fund the PIF are back in talks with Suning to try and purchase Inter after returning with an offer worth €1.2 billion.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Saudi fund have returned to the negotiating table to try and convince the current Nerazzurri owners by improving their existing offers to try and buy the club.

The PIF have been reported for some time to be interested in buying the Nerazzurri, although in all previous instances where they have been linked with interest, nothing has come of it, whilst in all cases Suning have reaffirmed their continued dedication to maintaining control of the club.

However, according to SportItalia, the PIF are once again launching an attempt to purchase Inter from Suning with a significantly increased offer worth €1.2 million.

It will remain to be seen how the current owners respond to any improved offers from Suning for the club.
