Inter captain Samir Handanovic and midfielder Nicolo Barella were among those who made their voices heard in yesterday’s meeting to get the team’s season back on track.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the pair spoke up as the entire team including the squad, club directors, and coach Simone Inzaghi met to discuss how to reverse the recent bad form they’ve been having.
Inter met at the training ground yesterday, with the theme being finding their team spirit and composure again after some recent lapses which have led to damaging early losses against the likes of Lazio, AC Milan, and Bayern.
Everyone was given the opportunity to speak their mind, and Handanovic and Barella particularly were among those who added their voices to those of Inzaghi and the club directors, trying to inspire their teammates and spark a different attitude to the one that’s taken over in recent weeks.
