Inter will hold a meeting with the representatives of defender Milan Skriniar during the international break to discuss the situation of his contract extension.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri are determined to find the agreement on a new deal whilst Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in the 27-year-old has not disappeared.

Skriniar’s current contract is set to run out at the end of June 2023, but the Nerazzurri strongly desire getting a new contract agreed as soon as possible, particularly in the view of the fact that PSG’s interest in signing him is still lingering in the background.

The club know that if they let the situation drag on too long, the possibility of losing Skriniar on a free transfer to the Parisians could become more concrete.

To this end, the Nerazzurri will hold around of talks with the Slovakian’s representatives very soon, likely during the international break, to try and get things started towards a swift agreement on a new deal.
