Inter are set to offer defender Milan Skriniar a new contract worth 6.5 million net per season after the end of the international break.

This according to Italian broadcaster DAZN, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to make their offer to try and get contract extension negotiations wrapped up quickly and without much fuss amid continued interest from Paris Saint-Germain in the Slovakian’s signature.

Inter have yet to present their formal offer of a new deal to Skriniar and his representatives, but they are getting everything ready to do so and hope that it will be sufficient to result in a quick agreement between all parties.

The Nerazzurri cannot equal the 8 million net per season that the 27-year-old would stand to earn at PSG but feel that they can reach high enough to convince him.

Given that the Parisians are still lurking in the background with interest, the Nerazzurri know that they must act fast and secure Skriniar’s future with a new deal, and they will make their offer right after the international break.
