Young Inter wingback Andrea Pelamatti has been shining for the Primavera team so far this season after rejecting offers from the likes of Reggiana, Entella, Podernone, and Bari during the summer transfer window.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the young Russian international, who turns eighteen soon, has been one of the outstanding players for Christian Chivu’s team so far.
Pelamatti, who is eligible represent Italy but has chosen to represent the Russian national team at youth level, took the decision to stay and continue to play with the Primavera team under Chivu as the best option for his development in the summer.
There was no shortage of interest in the youngster, with Reggiana, Entella, and Podernone keen to take him to Serie C, and Bari interested in bringing him to Serie B.
However, the 17-year-old’s choice looks to have been the correct one as he has come on leaps and bounds this season, with his form culminating in scoring two goals in the Primavera side’s first win of the season, against Viktoria Plzen in the UEFA Youth League.
