Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to give some time on the bench to Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic at some point in the next few matches.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri coach is ready to let two of his most-used players so far this season rest so as to not burn out from overuse.

So far, Skriniar has been Inter’s most-used player between Serie A and the Champions League, as he has been seen by the coach as too important to drop and has rarely been out of the team.

The coach is wary of the Slovakian becoming fatigued by overuse especially considering the condensed schedule, and will rotate his defense soon, with Francesco Acerbi giving him another option at the back.

Meanwhile, like Skriniar, Brozovic has started all of the Nerazzurri’s matches so far this season, and especially considering he is one yellow card away from suspension already, Inzaghi could selectively drop the Croat to the bench.
