Those Inter players not currently on international duty are set to make their returns to training on Wednesday.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the players who have not been called up to their national sides for the international break will be given today and tomorrow off and then report to training in midweek.

More than half of Inter’s squad are on international duty, and will only be back at the disposal of head coach Simone Inzaghi when they are released from their national teams towards the end of the international break.

However, there are also a number of players who have not been called up to their respective national teams, and the coach will spend the break working with them with a view to keeping their levels up and getting the team back on track.

The next couple of days will see the team resting from the start of the season, but then on Wednesday they will be back at the training complex.
