Inter president Steven Zhang is in the United States of America for both leisure reasons and to get new sponsorships for the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by La Repubblica, the Inter president is not in the country for what is quite a difficult part of the season for the club as they have suffered a downturn in form. The 3-1 loss against Udinese at the Dacia Arena has left a particularly bitter taste.

They report that part of his trip to America is to also work on possible future sponsorship deals with the partners, as well as for leisure given he studied in America and has friends in the country.

He is expected to be back in Italy at the beginning of October and that is when he will return to the stands at the Stadio Guiseppe Meazza to cheer on the team.
