The recent summit at Appiano Gentile has suggested that Inter need to sprint more during games even though they are running a lot, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, the summit at Appiano Gentile between the coach and the Inter hierarchy contained a period of time spent looking at the data around the team compared to others.

The Nerazzurri certainly can’t be accused of not running as much as other teams during games but it was suggested that they need to be sprinting more. This ties in with the perceived drop in dynamism and intensity in the way the team are playing, particularly against Udinese in the 3-1 defeat.

This is one of the many things that the team is now working on in training with the players who are not away on international duty right now and it will be continued with the full squad.
