Inter ultras group the Curva Nord have displayed banners around Milan telling the Zhang family to leave as owners of the club, and their protests could also be staged at the San Siro in the near future.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nord have made their feelings clear regarding the current ownership at the Nerazzurri, and that whilst they will not protest at the Serie A clash with Roma on the weekend they could soon.

Suning and the Zhang family’s ownership of Inter has been made very difficult during the past couple of year by financial problems, and there is a feeling among many supporters of the club that they are no longer the right owners to keep the Nerazzurri competitive.

The Curva Nord have added their voices to this view by displaying a banner telling the owners to leave, whilst this likely won’t be the end of their campaign.

The sense is that the Nord will not display any negative messages during the team’s Serie A clash with Roma as they want to show complete support given the difficulties in form prior to the international break, but that the protests could be staged at the San Siro in future matches.
