The Lega Serie A is considering a bid from Hungary to host the Supercoppa Italiana match in 2024, with the nation offering €8 million in order to host the match.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Supercoppa match will take place this season in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as expected but that in the near future it could be held in Hungary.

Inter played in the Supercoppa match last season, beating Juventus in a 2-1 extra time victory to win the competition for the first time in eleven years, whilst they will also play in it this season, taking on city rivals AC Milan in Riyadh in January.

Last season the match was held at the San Siro after Saudi Arabia failed to reach an agreement with the Lega Serie A, although this time around such an agreement has been found, and now the Lega are considering a proposal from Hunary to hold the match next season.
