SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla feels that at the moment Inter are like a puzzle, with a number of different vulnerabilities to exploit, and that Roma found a way to get at all of them in yesterday’s 2-1 Serie A win.

Tweeting after the match, Pedulla suggested that in terms of individual errors and lapses as well as the sense of uncertainty that radiates from the ownership radiation, each fault currently existing at the Nerazzurri was found and exposed by the Giallorossi.

The 2-1 loss to Roma may not have been the end of the world for Inter in isolation, but factoring in the context of the team’s poor start to the season as well as the financial issues that the club faces and the broader feeling of uncertainty, it only added to the mounting problems.

Inter may well have went into the match expecting that they could inject some positivity into their environment, but in the end it was Roma who found a way to capitalize on every lapse that appeared.

Pedulla tweeted, “Inter have lost four matches out of their first eight because: a) everyone has an excuse, b) the owners seem up in the air, and c) the individual errors are damaging and often unforgivable.”

“Roma are a real group,” he continued, “and did well to understand the different moments of the match. Inter are like a puzzle, playing four different matches at the same time.”
