Inter’s season has hardly gotten off to a good start, and in fact their four losses from their opening four Serie A matches is a worse record than any season since the 2011-12 campaign.
Not only this, prior to then the Nerazzurri had never endured such a poor start to the campaign, hardly a positive omen given that the Nerazzurri sacked two coaches and finished sixth that campaign.
This was highlighted in a tweet by football statistics account Opta.
They tweeted, “4 – Inter have lost four games in their first eight league matches, equaling their own negative record at this stage of the 2011-12 season. Collapse.”
4 – L’inter ha perso quattro partite nelle prime otto giornate di campionato: eguagliato il proprio record negativo a questo punto della stagione di Serie A, stabilito nel 2011/12. Crollo.#InterRoma
