Juventus are set to appeal the awarding of the 2006 Serie A title to Juventus once again with a hearing set for October 18, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by FCInternews, the Juventus Annual Financial Report up to June 30, 2022, shows that the Bianconeri are going to try once again to get the 2006 Scudetto awarded to them.
The 2006 title was won amidst the Calciopoli scandal that rocked Italian football.
Juventus won the title on the pitch but after investigations, it was later awarded to Inter who had finished second that season.
Juventus have made a number of unsuccessful appeals to have that title awarded to them over the years, and this is the latest attempt.
The new appeal has been filed with the Lazio Regional Administrative Court and the hearing is set to take place on October 18, 2022.
The club will want to have the history books state that they won the title rather than Inter.
