Lautaro Martinez will be monitored very closely by Inter ahead of the match against Sassuolo with fears of fatigue setting in, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Argentine striker is a minor fitness doubt ahead of the game in which Inter really need him to play.

Lautaro Martinez has played a lot of games in a short space of time for both club and country recently.

For that reason, he went off with a minor issue in the last Serie A game against AS Roma and he also could be seen gritting his teeth against Barcelona.

With Romelu Lukaku and Joaquin Correa both out, he is going to be the main man against Sassuolo but Inter will be watching him very closely.

They want to avoid creating a serious muscular problem for the striker that could lead to time out.
