Former Sampdoria and Bologna defender Angelo Da Costa feels that Inter will be able to get out of their bad period in form from the start of the season.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Da Costa argued that the Nerazzurri have the necessary quality to build into a stronger phase of the campaign.

Two wins against Barcelona and Sassuolo have certainly given a more positive spin to Inter’s season so far.

However, the fact remains that a poor start to the campaign in which the Nerazzurri lost as many of their matches as they won has marred the mood significantly.

Inter will need to find ways to improve on their performances from the early weeks in the season and find a better balance.

However, the quality is certainly there in the squad, and the players have shown that they can put in high-level performances.

“It’s too early to say anything with certainty, but Inter definitely have the quality that they need to get back out of their bad period in form,” Da Costa said.
