Italian journalist Sandro Sabatini feels that it is notable that Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella seems to be looking less frustrated with his teammates on the pitch.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, Sabatini noted that the 25-year-old is not showing his frustration with his gestures over the past couple of matches.
Inter’s rough start to the season was certainly felt by the players, with clear signs of frustration evident at times.
This often took the form of looks, gestures, and words exchanged when things were not going well.
In this respect, Barella has always been one of the most demonstrative members of the Nerazzurri’s squad, and at the start of the campaign he hardly ever failed to let his feelings be known.
Over the past few matches, however, the former Cagliari midfielder has looked a little more willing to simply put his head down and work when things haven’t been going well.
“One thing I’ve noticed, and we sometimes note how much a coach can change the mood of a team, have you seen how Nicolo Barella is no longer waving his arms at his teammates?” Sabatini noted.
