Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could possibly miss all of the Nerazzurri’s matches until after the World Cup.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Croat’s thigh problem could rule him out for all of the fixtures leading up to the World Cup break.

Brozovic picked up a thigh problem during the international break, having to limp off the pitch during the first half of the Croatian national team’s Nations League clash with Austria.

It always looked inevitable that the 29-year-old would miss a few weeks of action as he recovered with the injury.

However, the hope had been that Brozovic could be back in time to play in a few of Inter’s matches towards the end of October or the beginning of November.

Matches against the likes of Juventus and Atalanta in Serie A, and Bayern Munich in the Champions League, are among the final handful before the club season breaks for the World Cup.

However, there is a real chance that Brozovic could be absent for all of them.
