The performance that Robin Gosens put in against Barcelona on Wednesday evening could prove to be his turning point at Inter, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been suggested by a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the performance by Robin Gosens against Barcelona in the 3-3 draw was his best of the season.

He only came on in the 76th minute but he managed to score the goal that put Inter 3-2 up right at the end.

He ran forward at pace to get on the end of Lautaro Martinez’s superb pass into the box and he finished the move excellently.

He then almost scored a winner with the last action of the game as he got on the end of Raoul Bellanova’s cross but could only steer his header into the side netting.

Inter could definitely have lost the game without his contribution.
