The cost of Inter and AC Milan’s new stadium is set to rise to around €1.3 billion and a plan is in place for how that will be divided between the two clubs, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, it had previously been said by the Economic and Financial Plan drawn up by both companies that the new stadium will cost each club €260 million between the stadium and the urban regeneration of the area.

It is now believed that the cost is actually going to be €1.3 billion between the two clubs.

60% of that figure is going to be covered by a 20-year loan at 4.5% interest. The rest will be divided equally between the two clubs.

Their payments will be made based on a vehicle that takes current revenues into account. The public debates are currently ongoing.
