The medical tests that take place on Friday will be crucial for the potential recovery of Joaquin Correa and Romelu Lukaku to the Inter squad, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia, via FCInternews, the two forward players are currently working hard to try and return to fitness for the match against Salernitana on Sunday lunchtime.

The tests that they do on Friday at Appiano Gentile will give the best indication as to whether they can play a role in that game or if they will continue having to sit on the sidelines waiting to recover.

Joaquin Correa is expecting to be back in training with the main group on Friday which is a boost for his chances.

Optimism is growing for Romelu Lukaku as he may also be able to join the group tomorrow, although his chances are less than the Argentine’s.
