Inter duo Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu have been praised for their performances in the midfield against Barcelona in the Champions League, according to a report in the Italian print media today. 

As has been reported by Tuttosport when handing out their player ratings from the 3-3 draw at Camp Nou, the two midfielders really stood out for Inter in the game where they took another step towards reaching the Round of 16 in this season’s Champions League.

Nicolo Barella scored Inter’s first goal which made it 1-1 and for that and other contributions, he was given a rating of 7/10.

Hakan Calhanoglu played a good pass to Lautaro Martinez for the goal that made it 2-1 to Inter and he was given 7.5 out of 10 for his display.

Other players to get a 7/10 rating included Andre Onana, Milan Skriniar, Alessandro Bastoni and the scorer of the third goal, Robin Gosens.

He only played for the final 15 minutes but was impressive.
