Inter defender Milan Skriniar is set to be offered a new contract by the club that will see him earn similar figures to the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Marcelo Brozovic, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are readying their official offer for the Slovakian defender who is out of contract at the end of this season.

The liquidity that looks set to come Inter’s way thanks to almost reaching the next round of the Champions League helps them to make a more lucrative offer for the player sooner.

He is going to be offered a deal that in terms of the fixed part of the salary, will be similar to that of Lautaro Martinez and Marcelo Brozovic.

The Argentine striker gets €6.2 million per season and the Croatian midfielder gets €6.5 million per season.

There will then be bonuses to discuss of course and a meeting with his agent is going to take place shortly.
