Inter-owned midfielder Stefano Sensi has said that it was a great game against Barcelona at Camp Nou and he is on good terms with the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the midfielder who is on loan at Monza said that he enjoyed watching Inter’s 3-3 draw against Barcelona on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
He also stressed that he is on very good terms with the club after it was agreed that he should have another spell out on loan having spent the end of last season at Sampdoria.
“Great match at Camp Nou. We suffered in the first half, but that’s OK. In the second half they grew.
“There is regret for the draw. With Inter I remain on very good terms, I found the president Zhang and we said goodbye without problems.”
Stefano Sensi has always been held back at Inter by his physical problems.
His repeated injuries have stopped him from ever putting together a run of good form in the Nerazzurri shirt.
He explained how it felt to manage his body so much and how things are going well at Monza right now.
“I suffered that period because I often had troubles that did not allow me to play. Now the main thought if I hurt my adductor is to work 15 days and then return.
“Before, I used to ask myself a thousand questions. In the first year when I had one relapse after another, I tried to understand why it always happened to me.
“You ask yourself why fate always seems to come down on you. And my wife Giulia also helped me.
“There I realised that prevention is important, how to work well day after day while also taking care of the nutritional aspect.
“The medical area at Monza is helping me a lot, and also the support of a professional and a friend like Samuele Fenu.
“I never thought I wouldn’t make it, but you ask yourself many, many questions. And the birth of my daughter Ludovica has changed me.”
