Inter have ruled Romelu Lukaku out of the clash against Salernitana on Sunday but Joaquin Correa will play a part, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Romelu Lukaku is not going to be risked by Inter on Sunday at San Siro and will instead set his sights on Fiorentina.

The Belgian forward is recovering from a thigh injury and he is expected to train separately at the start of next week before then undergoing some tests.

Those tests will determine whether he can start to train with the rest of the group or not later in the week to prepare for the game in Florence.

It is not too much of a blow for Simone Inzaghi because he is going to get Joaquin Correa back from injury instead.

The Argentine is expected to play a role against Salernitana, likely from the bench.
