Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is aiming to recover from his injury in time to play a role against Bayern Munich and then start against Juventus, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Croatian midfielder is aiming to be back in the Inter squad for the final Champions League group game against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

Inter will hope that they have already qualified for the Round of 16 by then as they only need to make sure they beat Viktoria Plzen at San Siro.

The aim will then be to start the match against Juventus in Serie A on November 6 which will be a huge game in the domestic calendar.

There had been suggestions that he would only be fit in time for the World Cup but now it seems that he will briefly play for Inter before leaving for Qatar.
