Simone Inzaghi could start the Salernitana match with both Kristjan Asllani and Francesco Acerbi coming into the Inter starting eleven, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Inter coach needs to decide how to rotate his squad for the upcoming match against the Granata having only just had the Champions League match against Barcelona.

He may decide to bring Kristjan Asllani into the midfield in place of Henrikh Mkhitaryan so that the Armenian can have a rest and lessen the risk of injury.

Another decision to be made is in the defence where he may replace Stefan de Vrij with Francesco Acerbi. Another option is to rest Alessandro Bastoni instead.

Denzel Dumfries and Robin Gosens are expected to be the wingbacks for Sunday’s lunch match, which means that Federico Dimarco would be on the bench having started at Camp Nou.
