Inter are considering holding a ten-day training mini-tournament in Saudi Arabia during the World Cup.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that a training camp and mini-tournament in the gulf country which will hold the Supercoppa Italiana is a serious option for the Nerazzurri’s preparations.

Inter are considering what their squad will do during the World Cup in November and December, as a significant portion of the squad will not be participating in the international tournament.

A training camp will be planned for, and this could well take place in Saudi Arabia.

The gulf country will be holding the Supercoppa Italiana between the Nerazzurri and city rivals AC Milan in January.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri squad could spend a week and change getting used to the surroundings whilst they train.

Currently there are talks underway to try and organize a mini-tournament, although nothing concrete confirmed.
