Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti feels that Inter are both back in terms of results, and in terms of the quality of the football that they’re playing.

Writing in his column in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, Sconcerti praised the Nerazzurri for their recent performances as they’ve gotten back to winning ways.

Six points in the league as well as four in massive matches against Barcelona in the Champions League has made a huge difference in the mood of Inter’s season.

This wouldn’t necessarily mean all that much if these results were not backed up by performances, however.

Inter have looked much closer to their best than they had during the earlier weeks of the campaign, however.

Sconcerti, for his part, has been quite impressed by what he’s seen from this Inter team.

“Inter have gotten back to winning ways and played better than they had previously,” he writes.

Sconcerti continues that “Salernitana are like a Christmas ornament, they flash on and off, but Inter has found their creative craft thanks to Calhanoglu and Mkhitaryan, and a bit of magic through Barella.”

“The problems in Inter have never been Lautaro or Dzeko,” the journalist argues, “they all arise in the centre of the pitch, which in turn unbalances the defense.”

Sconcerti gives that view that “Today something looks to be back on track.”
