The city council of Milan has responded to some of the concerns from citizens regarding the new stadium plans of Inter and AC Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the city council has produced a response to specific concerns surrounding green space and noise.
Among the issues that have been raised by Milan citizens during the public debate around the new stadium plans has been the effect it will have on green space.
The city council noted in detail how the revised plans from the clubs include provisions to plant trees to increase the amount of green space in the San Siro district.
Meanwhile, there have also been concerns raised regarding the amount of noise from the stadium.
Citizens have expressed the worry that those living in the surrounding area, particularly living closest to the actual stadium, will be bothered by the noise.
Once again, the city council responded to this concern by stating that the plans submitted by the clubs include significant soundproofing measures.
